This past weekend we went to a wedding. The bride we have known for years and it was such a joy to get to be a part of her special day! Matt officiated the ceremony and I was able to bring two of the kids with us. Corban and Canon had so much fun. They got dressed up and looked amazingly handsome! It’s rare that Matt and I get the chance to spend that kind of time with only one or two kids at a time so when we do we just love it.

The wedding was just across the street from the ocean which meant the air would be cool that evening. And the forecast was rain that night too, so finding an outfit that was dressy but one I’d be warm in was tough. Especially since I don’t like wearing coats at a wedding! At first I was looking for a long sleeve dress, but then my friend let me borrow this skirt which I LOVED, but, I needed to find a top for it. I was looking at white or maybe off-white, but the colors didn’t seem to go just right. Then I tried this black top and it ended up being perfect. The colors matched great and it was definitely warm enough for the night.

This recipe is PERFECT for fall and so incredibly easy. No, it’s not super healthy, but you certainly can make it “healthier” if you’d like!!! I love to put the dip in mason jars, package it up and give them to people we love. Last night my boys delivered them to our neighbors! They were so…
