maternity lingerie with figleaves
Have you all ever bought maternity lingerie??? Do you know maternity lingerie is a thing???
I sure didn’t!
With my other pregnancies I literally did not even know maternity lingerie existed. By this stage I would simply resort to my husbands old tee shirts and stretched out shorts for sleeping and lounging. I confess I even wore his underwear a time or two because I didn’t have anything that fit!!!
In my mind “maternity” and “lingerie” were mutually exclusive words that had never been put in the same sentence together!
But my mind is forever changed! This pregnancy is so different and I am loving finding new companies that really help women feel lovely during and after pregnancy.
Figleaves is one of those companies. Figleaves loves celebrating all women’s bodies no matter what size, what shape or what season we are in.
So pretty, right?! Here’s a few more I can’t wait to wear after my lil girl is born…
Figleaves doesn’t just sell maternity, they are a brand that has a maternity products and they sell all of Heidi Clum’s line, which I love. I’m not sure if you know this or not but Heidi has designed an entire lingerie line for expecting mamas. Her choices in fabrics, colors and styles are just the prettiest and I love how feminine her style is.
My favorite piece from Figleaves has been this night time set in the pic below. It’s incredibly soft and feels so great on my skin. It’s hot right now here in the middle of summer in Texas and wearing this at night keeps me cool. It’s nursing friendly too, so I can definitely wear it in the hospital and just after delivery and still breastfeed easily.
I have also been loving this black swimsuit. These pics were from our time on Catalina Island just before we left California, but now that we are settling into our new home and using our pool I am wearing this suit just about every single day. It’s very basic but fits perfectly and is exactly what I needed/wanted for my maternity suit.
I’m now 31 weeks today which means only 9 to go! I’m starting to think through which pieces will go in my hospital bag and what else I want to take with me for delivery. Yesterday I bought some little headband bows for my sweet girl and it made me super excited to get to see her and hold her!
It’s been a few years since my last baby, so comment below if there’s a new company or product that is a “must have” for a new baby or end of pregnancy. I’d love to get some ideas!
And P.S…Did you guys see that Chip and Joanna named their 5th baby Crew??? Just like my 5th baby! I’m pretty sure we’re supposed to be best friends now! 🙂 I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
*Thank you to Figleaves for sponsoring this post. I’m so excited for many expecting mamas to hear about you all and find pieces that help make them feel lovely.
