army green bomber & lily jade
BOMBER | SHOES | SHIRT | PANTS | BAG
I completely forgot to post this outfit from a few months ago! I figured since it’s still taking a long time to warm up this spring that it isn’t too late to give some ideas for transition weather. On this particular day we took these pics I was taking my son to the bookstore. We loved getting to go in and see all of the books in person…and I even bought one that I’d been wanting to read for awhile. But later, when we got home, we looked up the prices on Amazon and found them to be quite a bit cheaper. How is it that book stores can stay in business anymore?!
My kids are really loving family reading time lately. We love to snuggle all up in the same room and read the same story together. We’ve been going through the Narnia series and just finished A Boy And His Horse. I wish they’d hurry up and make the movies out of all of those stories!
What other series of books do you all recommend? Or maybe not a series, maybe just a good family style book you’ve heard about or read?? I’d love to start a list going to be able to have a few to choose from.
This bomber jacket is super comfortable and really versatile. I love the army green color and how surprisingly warm it was. I paired it with a top from Walmart and some pants from Forever 21…because staples like a plain white shirt and plain black leggings shouldn’t have to cost a lot of money. I linked below some similar options but honestly I think I paid less than $10 for my leggings and the same for the shirt. I try to mix one really nice item with the rest generic/cheap. And these New Balance shoes are continually on repeat lately…I think they work with so many different styles and outfits.
This is spring break week for us so we are off to play at the beach and then off to soccer practice this evening. Did I tell you that Matt is coaching the boys this time?? It’s one of my favorite things to watch him with all of those little boys!
The book Augie was a good read with the boys, it’s real, about a boy with a disfigured face and life from his perspective and others in his life. It’s very funny though. Might be above the littles though. Magic treehouse are great too.
so awesome!! I’ll try to find that one and maybe read it to the bigs when the little are in bed. Thanks friend!
