I decided to go ahead and prepare my kids’ Easter baskets early this year…one, because we are heading into a crazy busy weekend…and two because so many of you responded to my Valentine’s Day post asking for me to give ideas BEFORE the actual day! So here you go!!!!

I thought these pails were so much cuter and looked more “boyish” than many of the baskets I saw. At Michaels ALL of their baskets are on sale right now and so is their garden items too which meant these pails were half off! I only paid $7 for each one.

And yes, you’ll notice there are a lot of sweets in these baskets…but you’ll also need to know that my kids don’t normally have a ton of sweets so I kind of splurge when it comes to holidays. You may also notice that these baskets are filled with less toys and way more snacks this year…and that was on purpose. Two days after Easter we are flying the entire family to Seattle for Spring Break, so instead of buying a bunch of Easter items and then having to buy more individual snacks for the trip I decided to combine the two. See, look at me thinkin’ ahead! (My mother in law would be so proud!)

Here’s my best tip for Easter…you can buy whatever basket you like and put whatever toys or treats you find in it…but please oh please wrap the basket in cellophane!!! Seriously, it’s super cheap (I wrapped all five of these with only one $2 roll and still didn’t use it all) and it’ll make your kids eyes light up I promise!

I also bought the kids matching shorts and t-shirts and the Princess a new dress (thank you Target!). My mom used to always have our new Easter outfits hanging on our closet door for us to see the morning we woke up…so I’ll plan to do the same to carryon on that tradition as well! I’ll be sure to take lots of pics to share!

If you haven’t yet taken my 2016 Spring Survey please would you take a moment to do so?! I would LOVE your feedback! Have a great rest of your week! xoxo
